You want to know why I love digital assets so much?
I’m going to tell you.
If you’re a creator, blockchain technology empowers you in a way no other technology has even come close to. If you’re a digital artist, photographer, filmmaker, writer, or even a content creator, this technology allows you to easily retain ownership and royalties of your work.
You can create a community on any social media platform or outside of social media, and actually create a digital ERC 721 token that’s represented in the form of a photograph, a digital piece of art an article, a book, or even a physical painting that you’ve made a digital representation of.
And within those tokens are contracts.
And within those contracts, you can write in royalties for yourself as the creator in perpetuity.
Now, you can give these tokens out to your community for free OR you can sell them. And if your tokens are sold on the secondary market, you retain a percentage of that sales price.
Digital assets are also a great way for creators to know who their communities are so that they can better can provide value to holders.
So, this technology allows creators to create communities, to empower themselves, give value to their communities in ways that we’ve never been able to do. This is the NUMBER 1 reason why I love this technology so much. It allows creators to cut out the middleman. You no longer have to get paid a fractional portion from social platforms or give brokers a cut, it’s no longer an issue.
This is an argument that’s very difficult for the critics to discredit.
How can you not want artists to retain ownership and royalties for their work? It’s one of the reasons I don’t understand a lot of the arguments against digital assets when the technology can help so many people.
There are a million other reasons why I love this technology, but number 1 has to be empowering the creator.
It’s hard for the haters to discredit that one.
Thanks for tuning in y’all.
